Fiji employment law
All team members placed through Our Pacific Office are employed in full compliance with the Employment Relations Act of Fiji. We manage employment contracts, termination procedures, entitlements and statutory obligations in accordance with local law — so you are not exposed to liability from employment disputes in Fiji.
Data security & confidentiality
Your team member works from a managed workstation environment in our Nadi office. We can implement data access restrictions, VPN requirements, restricted browsing policies, two-factor authentication requirements and other controls to match your business security standards. Confidentiality agreements and NDAs are standard.
Australian Privacy Act considerations
If your offshore team handles personal information about Australian customers, the Australian Privacy Act (Privacy Act 1988) may apply. We work with clients to ensure their offshore arrangements are structured appropriately and that data handling practices meet relevant obligations.
Employment contracts & IP
All employment agreements are structured to assign relevant intellectual property rights appropriately. Work product created by your team member as part of their role is owned by your business. Our contracts are reviewed regularly to ensure they remain current.

Do I need to establish a company in Fiji?
No. Your team member is employed through Our Pacific Office. You don't need to register any entity in Fiji, deal with the Fijian regulatory environment or manage in-country obligations directly.
Who is legally responsible for the employment relationship?
Our Pacific Office is the employer of record in Fiji. We hold the employment relationship, manage payroll and statutory obligations, and are responsible for compliance with Fijian employment law.
What happens to our data security when someone works remotely in Fiji?
Your team member works from our managed office environment in Nadi — not from home. We can implement specific security controls, access restrictions and monitoring requirements to match your IT security policy.
Can our offshore team member sign an NDA?
Yes. Confidentiality agreements are incorporated into employment documentation as standard. Additional NDA requirements specific to your business can be accommodated.
