Why Outsource to Fiji

Close enough to work as one team. Cost-effective enough to scale your business.

Fiji is one of the most practical and reliable places to build an offshore team. With a time zone closely aligned to Australia, a highly educated workforce, clear English communication and a professional culture that Australians instinctively recognise, outsourcing to Fiji offers the advantages of offshore staffing without the friction often found in other locations.

Aligned time zone

Just 2 hours ahead of AEST. Your Fiji team works your hours, joins your meetings and is available when your business needs them.

Clear English communication

Fijian English is clear, warm and consistently well-received by Australian customers, offering a genuine voice quality advantage over other offshore destinations.

Up to 70% cost savings

A dedicated Fiji-based team member typically costs 60–70% less than the equivalent local hire, without compromising on quality, reliability or commitment.

Cultural alignment

Fijians share Australia's customer service standards, professional values and approach to work. The adjustment period is minimal. The savings are significant.

Dedicated, not shared

This isn't a call centre arrangement. Your team member works exclusively for your business and is never assigned to another account.

Australian-founded & managed

Our Aussie founders live and work in Nadi. Their on-the-ground leadership bridges Australian business expectations with the local team environment every day.

How outsourcing costs compare to hiring locally

Growing your team does not always mean increasing your local headcount. Many Australian businesses expand operational capacity by adding offshore roles while keeping employment costs sustainable. A dedicated offshore team member in Fiji typically costs 60–70% less than the equivalent Australian role, while working full-time within your business and integrating with your team.

Role Typical Australian Salary Fiji Offshore Team Member
Virtual assistant $65k – $85k ~$22k – $30k
Customer service $60k – $75k ~$20k – $28k
Bookkeeping support $70k – $90k ~$25k – $35k
Executive assistant $80k – $110k ~$30k – $40k

For many Australian businesses, the cost of one local hire can fund two or three dedicated offshore team members.

Hiring Process

Build your offshore team in 4–6 weeks

Building the right offshore team is a collaborative process. We work closely with you to define the role, identify the right candidates and select the person who will fit your business, systems and way of working.

1

Discovery call

A 30-minute conversation about your business, the role you need to fill and what success looks like. The focus is on understanding your requirements and the outcomes you want the role to deliver.

2

Role brief

We document the role requirements including skills, experience, working style, software and hours. This becomes the brief our recruiters work from, and you approve it before we begin the search.

3

Talent search & screening

We search our existing talent pool and go to market if required. Every candidate is screened against your brief, interviewed by our team and reference-checked before you see their profile.

4

Interview & selection

You are presented with a shortlist to interview directly, typically of two to four candidates. We coordinate the process and support you in evaluating each candidate so you can make the final decision with confidence.

5

Onboarding & setup

Once you choose your team member, we set up their workstation, IT, HR documentation and payroll in our Nadi office. You'll just need to provide company system access, a workflow induction and initial task training.

6

Your team member starts

Your dedicated team member begins working exclusively for your business. Our office manages their HR, payroll, leave, and performance reviews. You direct their work. It really is that seamless.

About Us

Australian-founded. Fiji-built. Run by people who care.

Brad and Tracy Russell moved to Fiji in 2012 after forming a deep connection with the country and its people. Living and working in Nadi, they saw an opportunity to create something that would benefit both sides of the Pacific: meaningful, long-term employment in Fiji and reliable operational support for Australian businesses. That idea became Our Pacific Office.

Today, Australian companies across multiple industries rely on teams based in our Nadi office to support administration, finance, customer service and sales operations. What began as a small initiative to create sustainable employment has grown into a trusted staffing partner for businesses building dedicated offshore teams.

Brad and Tracy remain directly involved in the business. They live in Nadi, work from the office and know the people in their teams personally. When you call 1300 070 922, you will likely speak with one of them.

There are no layers between you and the people responsible for your offshore operation.
